OneVault

OneVault ID

Sign up once.
Then just sign in.

Stop creating a new account and password for every app. Wherever you see Sign in with OneVault, use your one ID, then see and disconnect your apps from one place.

Free for individuals. Registration uses a Gmail or iCloud Mail address.

A new sign-up form and password for every app becomes one OneVault ID, used through the same button on every app that supports it.

Why one ID

Less account admin. More control.

  • Skip the sign-up forms

Join apps that support OneVault with the ID you already have, instead of filling in the same details again.

  • Fewer passwords to remember

Use a passkey or your one OneVault password. Apps never receive your password.

  • See every connected app

One list shows which apps you connected, what they received and when they last used your OneVault sign-in.

  • Leave when you want

Disconnect an app from your account to stop it signing you in through OneVault.

How it works

Three steps, once.

  1. Create your OneVault ID

Confirm your email with a one-time code, choose a username and password, and add a passkey if you like.

  2. Choose Sign in with OneVault

On an app that supports it, pick the green OneVault button and sign in on OneVault.

  3. Approve and continue

Check what the app asks for, then carry on. Review or disconnect it later from your account.

Look for this button on apps that support OneVault:

Sign in with OneVault
On an app, tap Sign in with OneVault, confirm on OneVault, and you’re back in the app, signed in.

Security and privacy

Protected by default. Shared only on your terms.

  • Passkeys

Sign in with a passkey saved on your phone or computer, so there is no reusable password for a fake site to steal.

  • Verified email

Every OneVault ID starts with an email address confirmed by a one-time code.

  • New-device codes

Signing in from a device or browser OneVault doesn’t recognise? We email you a code to confirm it’s you.

  • You decide what’s shared

Third-party apps show what they ask for and why, and receive it only after you approve.

  • Your data isn’t for sale

OneVault does not sell your personal data. Apps never receive your password, passkeys or one-time codes.

  • Verify your phone once

Where phone verification is offered, verify your number once in OneVault instead of in each app.

Your control

See every app. Disconnect in one step.

Your account lists each app you’ve connected, what it received and when it last used your OneVault sign-in. Disconnect an app and it can no longer sign you in with OneVault.

An app may keep information it already received and its own session. OneVault tells you this before you disconnect.

From one list of connected apps, an app you no longer use is disconnected and can no longer sign you in with OneVault.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is a OneVault ID?

A OneVault ID is one account you can use to sign in to apps that offer Sign in with OneVault. Instead of creating a new username and password for each of those apps, you use the same ID and manage your connections from your OneVault account.

Which email address can I use?

To reduce spam and fraud, registration currently accepts Gmail and iCloud Mail addresses. You confirm the address with a one-time code before your ID is created. Availability can depend on your country.

Do apps get my password?

No. Connected apps never receive your password, passkeys, recovery codes or one-time codes. You sign in on OneVault, and the app only learns that you signed in along with the information it is allowed to receive.

What information does an app receive?

Third-party apps show what they ask for and why, and receive it only after you approve. OneVault Apps receive your OneVault profile, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can review what each app received in your account.

What happens when I disconnect an app?

The app can no longer use your OneVault ID to sign you in. It may keep information it already received and its own session until you sign out there, so contact the app if you also want that data deleted.

Does OneVault sell my personal data?

No. OneVault does not sell your personal data, does not provide your account data to advertisers and does not use it to target ads.

Does a OneVault ID cost anything?

No. A OneVault ID is currently free for individuals. If paid features are ever added, you will see the price and terms before you are charged.

Ready for one ID?

It takes a few minutes. You’ll need a Gmail or iCloud Mail address.
